Nanaimo市内的野生鹿越来越多，看似温顺，其实凶猛。

感觉Nanaimo市内的鹿越来越多！今天一出门，又碰到一家鹿。

去年入冬前想学成CORE （Conservationand Outdoor Recreation Education）。原本计划将勤补拙，自学成才，没想到搞成饱食终日 ，有始无终。一本教材读了三个月，还有2/3的篇幅没有见过面。不过总算学到省内一共主要有3种鹿：骡鹿（Muledeer）、黑尾鹿（black-taileddeer）、白尾鹿（white-taileddeer）。常常在纳奈莫社区和马路上游荡的多半是黑尾鹿，而且还是头上没有角的雌鹿。

貌似鹿先生都比较懒，平时很少出门。不过看起来他们一旦上街，就容易出事故。

谁家的院子这么招鹿喜欢？

本地的Cougar比较危险。
碰到Cougar时的7个保命办法：

• Never turn your back on a cougar
• Never run from a cougar (fast movement triggers their chase and kill instinct)
• Maintain constant, direct eye contact, and remove sunglasses
• Make loud continuous noise
• Be prepared: Carry bear spray, a fixed blade knife and air horn or whistle
• If attacked, fight back, focusing blows to the cougar’s eyes and muzzle
• Enjoy the outdoors in groups of two or more
